Aker Horizons ASA is an industrial holding company, which engages in the business of incubating and investing in companies within green energy and green industry. It operates through the following segments: Aker Carbon Capture (ACC), Asset Development (AAD), Mainstream Renewable Power (Mainstream), Aker Horizons and Holdings, and Other. The ACC segment focuses on serving a range of industries with carbon emissions including cement, bio and waste-to-energy, gas-to-power, and blue hydrogen segments. The AAD segment is involved in developing, owning, and operating industrial-scale hydrogen projects to meet growing demand for the decarbonization of energy-intensive, hard-to-abate industries such as shipping, steel, and fertilizers. The Mainstream segment offers onshore and offshore wind and solar power generation across Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa.
